With my itunes party shuffle on, none other than S Club 7 came on.
That made me reflect on the various boy/girl groups of the 1990s.

Don't Stop The Music

One of my favourite bands, The Killers, has a new song, 'Human.'
The 1st single from their album 'Day & Age', out end of November.

They have released 3 wonderful albums:
1. Hot Fuss
2. Sam's Town
2. Sawdust

I prefer the "look" of 'Hot Fuss' to 'Sam's Town.'
In regards to the music itself, I am unsure.
I wonder what the look & photography of their new album shall be.

Yes, the lead singer, Brandon Flowers is gorgeous : )

(I Just) Died in Your Arms

This is one of the most powerful images of a band I have ever seen.
Many bands use cliche shots - I guess there are only so many styles.

Bands can't have have fake photos - they reveal if there is musical integrity or not.

It is that of the late 70's British band, Joy Division.
They chose their name from the back story to the novel, House of Dolls.
I have read it and let me tell you it is not for the faint hearted.
Their song 'No Love Lost' contains an edited passage from the novel.


Black & White vs. Colour
I don't think powerful band images need to be black & white.
This is one of the best shots of Muse & it is full of bright colours.
It is powerful, but in a completely different way.

My Mistakes Were Made For You

In Placebo's 'Taste in Men' video I saw black nail polish.
I know it's not new - I wondered if men with nail polish was appealing.

Now, I like black nailpolish - it makes a very bold statement.
Its a popular colour & has looked very good on some female celebrities.



There are few male pictures - strange considering how popular it is.
However, is it attractive for men??

Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend

Thank you all for your sweet wishes for my exams.
One of them was good and the other was bad.
I am just glad to have them over.

I was watching a repeat of The Ellen Degeneres Show a few days ago and Miley Cyrus was on.
She wore a lovely gold Sass & Bide vest that I have wanted for so long.
I don't like purchasing Sass & Bide as I know an awful story about how ruthless and disloyal they were to become successful, from a friend who was the first store to stock their clothes.

I apologise for the terrible picture but it is all I could find.


Miley likes the brand so much she specifically requested this "Harlequin Dress" for her music video '7 Things' after she saw it on the runway at New York Fashion Week in February.

I Just Had To

I just had to upload at least one of these pictures.
This is the first time I have done 2 blogs in 1 day.
After spending weeks trying to find the large images I finally have.
This is one of my favourite campaigns EVER and it is for Burberry.

It has the wonderful Sam Riley (one of my favourite men - on the list on the right) and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
