1. Songy - your posts can be quite deep and speak of truth and honesty. You are such a loyal reader AND commenter and I always enjoy hearing from you. You have such an open mind about fashion and life as a whole. A really commendable quality.

2. Michelle - such a fun and crazy girl. She fills her blog with things about school, her life and pretty much everything that strikes her fancy. A great read with something for everyone. I wish more people at my school were like her!

6. Ashleigh - Love her blog. Although she is very new to blogging, I thoroughly enjoy reading her posts. I've saved some of her pictures so I can try & find some of her great accessories & clothes.

7. Agnes - her blog is filled with such a variety of things that there is so much to enjoy. She always includes fantastic images that really add that extra special thing to her writing.

8. Valentine - wonderful posts. I read them from start to finish and enjoy all of it. With a wonderful taste in music, she has the recipe for a wonderful blog.

This is one of the most powerful images of a band I have ever seen.
Many bands use cliche shots - I guess there are only so many styles.

Bands can't have have fake photos - they reveal if there is musical integrity or not.

It is that of the late 70's British band, Joy Division.
They chose their name from the back story to the novel, House of Dolls.
I have read it and let me tell you it is not for the faint hearted.
Their song 'No Love Lost' contains an edited passage from the novel.

Black & White vs. Colour
I don't think powerful band images need to be black & white.
This is one of the best shots of Muse & it is full of bright colours.
It is powerful, but in a completely different way.

I think Hilary Duff has had some great fashion choices.

This would be my favourite ever outfit of hers.
I love everything about it.
Usually those boots with shorts in the day is trashy but it works for her.

I really like the braces/suspenders on the jeans (picture below).

I really dislike her fishnets & skirts/shorts during the day.
She has worn them quite frequently.
I LOVE fishnets, don't get me wrong, but I think they are for the night.

In Placebo's 'Taste in Men' video I saw black nail polish.
I know it's not new - I wondered if men with nail polish was appealing.

Now, I like black nailpolish - it makes a very bold statement.
Its a popular colour & has looked very good on some female celebrities.

I'm now enjoying the Season 1 DVD of Skins, a wonderful UK show.
Cassie Ainsworth (Hannah Murray) has FANTASTIC style.
Unfortunately, its hard to get pictures.
I literally went through 100's of screen caps to try & find examples.

Season 1 of Beverly Hills: 90210 played when I was born.
It's such a good teen show - MUCH MUCH better than The OC.

They have re-done the show for 2009, simply named "90210."

It will be interesting to see how the fashions have changed.
The show lasted 10 years - that's a long time, especially as fashion & technology advanced so rapidly during those years.

However, I adore Jessica Stam's in the picture below.

I love masked ball's and I intend to plan one as they look so wonderful.

I have been enjoying the Ugly Betty Season 1 DVD & been noting my favourite character, Marc St. James's (Michael Urie) outfits.

Marc is gay and he wears completely over the top outfits, similar to straight Chuck (Ed Westwick) in Gossip Girl.

Thank you for all the well wishes regarding my health.

I have a pretty bad cold but each day I am getting a little better.

To be honest, I really like some of Ashlee Simpson's outfits, I prefer them to Jessica Simpson's.

When I watched Newlyweds Jessica tried way too hard, simply emulating Paris Hilton and only looked at the brand name, not the clothes themselves.

I recognise she has changed but I still prefer Ashlee's, Jessica's looks so forced.

Thank you all for your sweet wishes for my exams.
One of them was good and the other was bad.
I am just glad to have them over.

I was watching a repeat of The Ellen Degeneres Show a few days ago and Miley Cyrus was on.
She wore a lovely gold Sass & Bide vest that I have wanted for so long.
I don't like purchasing Sass & Bide as I know an awful story about how ruthless and disloyal they were to become successful, from a friend who was the first store to stock their clothes.

I apologise for the terrible picture but it is all I could find.

Miley likes the brand so much she specifically requested this "Harlequin Dress" for her music video '7 Things' after she saw it on the runway at New York Fashion Week in February.

I am desperate to find Kate Moss's boots.
The only pair of over-the-knee boots I found were in David Jones, they were $4000 but they were not worth it.
I just want over-the-knee ones and NO ONE sells any!!!

I first time I saw this outfit was in the "Who the Fuck is Pete Doherty" DVD and immediately fell in love.

Sorry for not writing.
I just started my exams and this is my first break.

I've developed a fondness for blue nail polish.
I usually only wear red, black or bright pink as I like to make an impression.
Unlike the stereotype, I much prefer red over pink.

I also love knee socks.
Not for school but for shorts I think they are cool.

Men In Hats
I find hats so appealing.
A guy in a hat DEFINITELY gets a thumbs up.
Top hats, trilbies, fedoras, homburgs and bowler hats just have something about them.
The London look.
It really gives a man character.

Women In Hats
I spent months trying to find one but now I own a black trilby.
EVERY TIME I have worn it I have been asked out and guys have complimented me for the hat.

One time I was at school and these guys were in a car on their way to a wedding and the groomsmen shouted out of the car that they loved my hat.

So, anyone in a hat is instantly recognised as having character.

Waistcoats & Fob Watches
I also love waistcoats & fob watches.
I own a fob watch and love it.
Guys compliment me on it but not nearly as much as when I am wearing the trilby.

I think I just like the Victorian style - (ie my love for corsets & suspenders - refer to earlier post).

Hooking Up With Teachers
Someone tole me she secretly has a crush on a teacher at our school.

I have and it is the same guy as her.
We know nothing will come from these crushes but we still have them.

However, 2 years ago a girl at my school was OBSESSED with a teacher - everyone knew - he knew as well.
2 weeks after her graduation she ran into him in a bar & kissed him.
She immediately texted everyone - she was really proud.
I know this as she texted my sister.

I prefer to keep teachers as teachers.
